Saffron Connect is a handheld device with a barcode reader that helps caterers simplify and increase their stock management efficiency.
Saffron Connect is designed to be used with our Saffron catering management software. It eradicates the paper chase associated with stock taking, and keeping track of stock transfers and receipt of goods, simply by utilising the latest barcode scanning technology.
Each stock item listed on Saffron can be uploaded onto Saffron Connect which then reads and records the barcodes associated with that item. The software can also print out barcode labels for non bar-coded items. Once all the items have been scanned, Saffron’s central inventory control database is automatically updated when Saffron Connect is placed back in the holster.
