FDH GOES FOR ISO ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARD

Sheffield-based IT specialist Fretwell-Downing Hospitality (FDH) is preparing to be audited for the ISO 14001 standard on Environmental Management.

FDH already ensures its activities, products and services meet with the current environmental legislation, but are aiming further by establishing a framework of objectives and audit procedures that will help reach the level of environmental performance that will secure the voluntary ISO standard.
 
In particular, the company and its staff are committed to preventing or minimising waste, promoting recycling, cutting energy consumption, and where possible working with suppliers and business partners with the same commitment.
 
Charles Mobbs, FDH Managing Director comments: "The Board of Directors, management and all members of staff at FDH are committed to the care and preservation of the environment. This is an ongoing process and one in which we, as an organisation, are keen to contribute to in a meaningful way."
