FDH’s Saffron solution continues to be the obvious choice for Local Authority Caterers with recent installations being carried out in Southampton, Newcastle, Halton and Warwickshire.

All 4 sites already offered a balanced menu selection, but it became apparent that they needed additional control and management to ensure the highest nutritional standards to pupils in both primary and secondary schools. The ultimate aim for all the Councils is to ensure that all aspects of food and nutrition in schools promote the health and wellbeing of the pupils.

The installation of Saffron Nutrition will help analyse the menu cycle for both nutritional and cost content. In todays high pressure environment, the need to gather data, evaluate it and take effective action is paramount. Saffron provides the management tool that facilitates this process quickly and efficiently.

Once again, all our new clients were delighted with Saffron’s ease of use, which, combined with FDH’s excellent after sales service ensured the implementation of the system was smooth and painless!
