Healthcare – Carillion

Facility Management contractor Carillion has been working with Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for 3years. The 513 acute bed teaching hospital has a significant catering requirement, and Carillion are looking to build on their experience there to manage the catering operation in a more efficient manner.

Apart from delivering catering to the wards, there is a large retail element at the hospital, with a staff restaurant, vending facilities and a coffee shop. Martin Payne was Deputy General Facilities Manager on behalf of Carillion at their site when the decision to purchase proVISION was made. He believed that the quality of management information that would be made available though the system would lead Carillion to reduce costs delivering catering at ward level.
